Assisting with the accurate weighing and measuring of ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
Preparing baking trays, moulds and equipment for use.
Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and stored correctly.
Learning and assisting in the mixing of various doughs and batters for breads, pastries, cakes and other baked items.
Understanding the functions of different ingredients and their impact on final products.
Operating and maintaining mixing equipment.
Assisting in shaping, proofing and baking of products in industrial ovens.
Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
Learning basic finishing techniques such as decorating and portioning.
Adhering strictly to all recipes, production specifications and quality standards.
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation / production area at all times.
Operating equipment safely and reporting any malfunction or hazards.
Assisting with other duties as required to support the department.

Job Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work diligently.
Good physical stamina as the role involves standing for long hours / lifting and moving ingredients.
Basic understanding of Food & Hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume production environment.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Able to work in a non-halal environment.
