Working with our innovative engineering team, you'll help bring medicines to the world even faster by imagining what’s possible and taking action.What You Will AchieveWorking with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet desired quality standards. Your production engineering skills will help in recommending and implementing improvements, modifications or additions that will help in solving problems. You will review product requirements in terms of product development compatibility and help Pfizer determine optimum costs and schedules of production.As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. It is your domain knowledge, commitment, collaboration and dedication that will help us achieve new milestones and patients across the globe.How You Will Achieve ItDevelop Manufacturing / Operating Instructions and necessary Standard Operating Procedures.Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the process control system recipe / models.Carry out technical assessment for evaluation of processes.Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues observed during manufacturing or during batch record review.Develop, implement and monitor robust preventive measures for processing issues.Play a proactive role in ensuring the site safety and quality standards are adhered to.Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in processes and equipment.Communicate on a regular basis to the plant personnel on process updates.Train the process technicians and fellow process engineers on the process and procedures as required.QualificationsHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Degree in Science with Major in ChemistryProactive, with strong interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft ApplicationsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environmentProcess Engineering and Technical KnowledgeFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologiesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressureStrong sense of commitment and dedication, with sense of urgency to get things done and results-driven attitudeWork Location Assignment: On PremisePfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.Engineering
