We may consider conversion to a permanent position based on demonstrated strong performance.What You Will DoWork with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to develop and maintain a testing plan for use as part of the software development lifecycle.Record, document and report observed defects and issues within the product and work with stakeholders to ensure their timely resolution.Apply the testing plan as part of the release management process to qualify and approve regular releasesWork onsite at the office at least a few times a week to engage closely with the engineering and product teams.This role can be undertaken as either a full-time or a part-time position. In the case of part-time, you will spend a few hours a day to conduct the above tasks.Who You AreProficient using mobile devices and mobile and web applications, and can retrieve logs, settings, and other information to report the state of the application and device to help the engineering team narrow down and reproduce any software defects.Great attention to detail with high empathy for users. Able to effectively be the user's voice in the room when highlighting issues and improvements.Organized and structured communicator with high attention to detail. Proactive in working with the team to overcome blockers and brainstorm solutions.Excellent time management skills and can prioritize effectively to help the team meet milestones and deadlines when needed.Prior hands-on experience testing financial applications and infrastructure on Android or iOS devices or with web applications is great to have. Experience in testing in other kinds of software, such as gaming, ecommerce, or social apps, together with a willingness to ramp up and learn about the finance industry would make you a good fit too.Prior experience with recording issues in issue tracking software like Jira or Linear is good-to-have.Prior experience with using scripts and tools to automate testing and reporting, is good-to-have.Currently located in Singapore, or you are eligible to work in Singapore.
