The HPTRP aims to bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines with an interest to maximise human potential. In HPTRP, focusing only on human studies, we aim to adopt a holistic perspective that considers human potential as an integrative measure of health, productivity, performance, human capital and overall well-being over the lifespan, in our environment. Appointments will be made on one-year contract, with the possibility of one-year extension.Purpose of the postThe Research Assistant will work closely with our collaborator's Biobank Team. The RA's principal role will be to work in general practices of biosample transporting, processing, storage, data entry and other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer,Main duties and responsibilitiesThe Research Assistant will:
- Process a wide range of biosamples that includes but not limited to blood and stool.
- Provide and maintain accurate laboratory record and data.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety and procedures in accordance with the laboratory SOPs.
- Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with SOPs.
- Perform laboratory housekeeping as assigned.
- Must be work at 3 sites as rostered.
- Must be able to work on weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.
- Proven laboratory experience with demonstrated competency in pipetting techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
