- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for delivering on client orders in a professional, timely and safe manner, and critically important for retaining client business over the longer term.
- Ensure Operational support matters are dealt with promptly, professionally and making this aspect a key attribute of the Client's brand.
- Prioritising workshop resources to optimally meet business demands.
- Working closely with team members to assist the Client to win and retain client business.
- Driving excellence in all aspects of operationally delivery.
- Managing the performance of the workshop staff, ensuring they are adequately informed, trained and meeting expectations.
- Optimise performance of the warehouse – driving improvements in efficiency, eliminating backlogs, and implementing lean processes to continually improve efficiency.
- Responsible for compliance with all group HR policies, procedures and government legislative requirements.
- Managing and seeking continual improvement in the management and efficient turn-around of rental assets within the Region, and managing support priorities for international locations.
- Promoting teamwork between the sales and workshop functions, actively breaking down traditional barriers and inefficiencies.
- Manage and review the cost base against budget, and continually seeking efficiency improvements
- Keep the leadership team informed and advised, reporting regularly both positive factors and challenges relevant to the performance of the business.
- Ensure the logistics functions are working efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to the Client's Technology’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and industry standards
- 100% on-time delivery
- Ensure overtime is effectively utilised and Workshop team members individually contribute to the overtime workload.
- Maintain showcase workshop and annex standards, and ensure no backlog of Inspection and Repairs is allowed to exist.
- Zero LTI’s, no significant injuries
- Well established and proven track record in an operations managerial role within the subsea or similar industry
- Well-organised and decisive with excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership, able to manage conflicting priorities and allocation of resources in a dynamic business environment
- Leading the delivery of excellent customer service by example
- Thorough technical, operational and commercial knowledge of the offshore survey, IRM and ROV tooling business
- Proficiently competent with Microsoft products (Office applications, AX, etc)
