Job DescriptionThe Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore is recruiting a post-doctoral Research Fellow.The successful candidate will work on developing a novel floating hybrid tidal-wave energy system. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations will be conducted for design and analysis. Hydroelasticity of the tidal turbine blades will be considered.Job Requirements
Possess a recognised PhD degree in hydrodynamics, marine renewable energy, or a related discipline.
Experience with CFD simulations and hydrodynamic analysis.
Knowledge of coastal dynamics such as waves and tides.
Strong writing and communication skills and able to present results.
Good publication record is advantageous.
Open to fixed term contract.
