It also offers other PV system-related services, including, but not limited to: Smart O&M (operation & maintenance), Preventive O&M, Rectifications & Special Investigations, Repowering, Audits & Performance Assessment, and General Technical Support.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPV Doctor is constantly evolving and enhancing its data analytics and AI capabilities. This latest batch of intern additions will see the candidate(s) join the Data Engineering & Analytics Team, focusing on data engineering and analysing the performance and long-term behaviour of a large portfolio of PV assets throughout Asia. Novel AI concepts are also being added to the suite of solutions we create for our clients. Therefore, intern(s) will be exposed to modern data handling & preparation techniques.Responsibilities

Utilizing advanced data mining and analysis techniques to drive quality improvements and optimize datasets.
Working with senior performance engineers and programmers to develop & optimize codes surrounding the performance of PV system assets.
Designing and implementing an organization-wide data collection system, ensuring information accuracy and reliability, and establishing standardized reporting formats.
Serving as a key resource for process improvement teams and departments regarding quality data management and statistical analysis.
Identifying opportunities to leverage company data to enhance product and process performance through collaboration with various stakeholders.
Preparing and delivering regular reports for senior management.

Qualifications

3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Science or a related field at a Singapore university.
Master’s and PhD students in similar disciplines are welcome to apply.

Skills & Competencies

Proficient in data analysis, data visualization, and data collection techniques (e.g., API, FTP, web scraping) using Python.
Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries.
Skilled in shell scripting and working with Linux environments.
Experience with RESTful APIs is an advantage.
