Job Description:The CompanyOur client is a fast growing US Commodity Trading MNC with over 60 years of history and strong global footprint across US, Europe and Asia. The company is a market leader with double digit growth across APAC region in the last few years. With further expansion of their global business, they are currently recruiting for an APAC Trade Finance Analyst to cover the APAC regional trade finance matters.The RoleReporting to APAC Regional Trade Finance Manager you will oversee a regional portfolio across APAC and working closely with the operations team, treasury team and settlement team in Singapore and US. You will play a key role in managing the full trade finance activities which include structuring and managing trade finance transactions, issuing letters of credit, guarantees, invoice financing, LC discounting/confirmation etc. Also you will be acting as a key point of contact to assist in on-boarding of new banks to support the business growth plans of traders. Last but not least, you will be highly involved in managing a diversified commodity products which include metals, oil and LNG.Your ProfileTo be a successful candidate, you must have
  • Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting, CFA is additional bonus
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant industry background (commodity industry highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of metal, oil or LNG is highly preferred
  • Possess strong communication skills to drive business partner and build banking relations
  • Must be able to speak Chinese to work with their counterparts in China
  • Must be a good team player who is proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
