Confidential Secretary, Global Japanese Practice

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Confidential Secretary with relevant experiences.The successful candidate will need to:
  • Support Japanese Partners (i.e. screen telephone calls, manage schedules, submission of claims and timesheets, booking of meeting rooms etc)
  • Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Maintain and update the department's contact information
  • Translation support
  • Support Global Japan Practice activities (maintain Japanese client contacts, meeting arrangements etc )
  • Ad-hoc duties
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • LCCI Private Secretarial Certificate or equivalent
  • Computer literate (ie; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Japanese language, and can communicate effectively at business level (to liaise with Japanese speaking associates and handle translation tasks)
