  • Work closely with Business partners to follow up with outstanding clients-related issues, e.g., aged debtors, revenue recognition, outstanding cost estimates, and resolving clients' issue but with a win-win solution/approach to both Agency & clients.
  • Liaise with Client Service team; ensure billings are generated timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, whether within the Finance department or in other functions.
  • Good team player with a can-do attitude, keen to learn and committed to ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist in preparing management reports.
GL, AP and AR functions
  • Assist in managing accurate revenue recognition and WIP (work-in progress) entries.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly balance sheet items such as WIP, accruals, pre-billings, prepayments, etc.
  • Preparation of journals and keeping proper supporting documentation and filing in preparation for audit.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and other ah-hoc assignments.
  • Assist in monthly management reports, SOX reporting and budget reports.
  • Review Debtors Ageing Report, follow up with Shared Service Team or client on overdue invoices to ensure timely collection of debts.
  • Ensure that Net Working Capital and Aged Debtors ratios are kept within Group acceptable levels.
  • Liaison with Shared Service team when answering queries from client servicing team regarding settlement of supplier accounts/ invoices.
  • Guiding client servicing team to obtain appropriate documentations required in setting up client and vendor account in accounting system.
What You'll NeedRequirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Professional certification such as CA or ACCA is an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Individuals with 1-2 years' relevant working experiences is an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to details
  • Team player who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
  • Independent, highly motivated and committed
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Desirable
  • Knowledge of Deltek Maconomy is a bonus
  • Experience of working in service industry / advertising / creative / PR agency is a bonus
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to start work immediately or in short notice (preferred)
