Procurement Coordinator (Shipping) – 6 months contract (S16967)

Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including raising requisitions, sourcing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with purchasing standards.
Negotiate costs and foster effective relationships with suppliers.
Manage the supply of provisions and fresh water to vessels.
Ensure timely processing and delivery tracking of all orders.
Develop inventory systems and perform regular stock audits of received items.
Coordinate with Superintendents and vessel personnel on requisition matters.
Work in close coordination with the Shipping division and the appointed launch representative.
Undertake additional tasks as instructed by the Purchasing Manager.

Requirements:

Possess a Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Marine or a related sector.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
Detail-focused and well-organized.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.
