As a Trade Manager, you will oversee the team to ensure maximum loading efficiency and an optimal cargo mix.

Closely monitor market trends and develop pricing strategies based on seasonality and competition, aligning with financial goals using both internal and external data.
Generate reports on business performance, identify budget discrepancies, propose corrective measures, and enhance processes.
Collaborating with operations, accounts, and sales teams, you'll drive business performance.
Your role also involves liaising with vendors to address operational or pricing issues, maintaining client relationships, and negotiating commercial contracts.
Evaluating and sharing key performance indicators, you'll develop both short and long-term action plans in response to allocation challenges.

Requirements:

A degree in Maritime, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the shipping industry, preferably in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail, a positive learning attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including Pivot Table & VLOOKUP).
