Duke-NUS provides innovative education and impactful research to enhance the practice of medicine in Singapore and beyond. The School also has strong research ties with Singapore Health Services (SingHealth), one of Singapore's major healthcare providers, other major research institutions in Singapore, and with Duke UniversityThe Programme in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders (CVMD) is one of the Signature Research Programmes in Duke-NUS. The overarching aim of the Programme is to define the molecular mechanisms underlying human health and disease and to discover new approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat cardio-metabolic illnesses.   • Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree with a strong background and proven track record in cellular and systemic metabolism, metabolomics/lipidomics, renal and cardiovascular biology and medicine, and integrative data sciences, including systems genetics and related fields.
  • Research independence and demonstrated leadership in managing a productive research team.
  • Exceptional track record in securing competitive research funding and publications in high impact scientific journals.
  • Prior experience in translating research towards pre-clinical or commercial applications is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to mentor and train graduate students and postdoctoral research staff
