- Drive the overall operational and business performance
- Develop clear team structures with specific Areas of Responsibility (AOR) and Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) mapping
- Work with the Board to develop goals (commercial and non-commercial) for the venue with clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Lead the teams to achieve the OKRs set out for the venue
- Set and communicate clear operating standards
- Ensure that the teams execute based on these operating standards
- Ensures team alignment with the venue's and group's mission and values
- Ensure quality, operating, and hygiene standards are met
- Monitor venue adherence to all licensing laws regarding the service of food and beverage, public and employee safety while in compliance with local food safety standards
- Drive the annual planning and budgeting process and ensure that the budget is achieved
- Own the overall Profit and Loss statement of the venue
- Analyse POS reports and sales trends, recommend and implement cost control exercises, and improvements to onsite sales and marketing tools
- Conceptualizing staff development plans according to the needs of the business
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees, or oversee the administrative processes
- Implementing training strategies for the venue with the support of the Talent Team
- Work with the Talent Team regarding employee movements and performance feedback
