The Enterprise Risk Management team is a second line of defense function within SGX and supports senior management and the units within the organization to manage the organization's risks and to maintain business continuity.Learning Objectives:The intern will be able to undertake risk management activities in a financial institution such as:
- Execution of risk and control programs within the organization
- Risk analysis, management, and reporting
- Business impact analysis
- Work closely with external and internal stakeholders (e.g., internal audit, consultants) to facilitate review of the Enterprise Risk program
- Assist with execution of Enterprise Risk Programs (e.g., risk and control-self assessment, business impact analysis)
- Conduct analysis of process and controls to identify gaps/areas for improvement and assist with process redesign
- Conduct research and analysis for risk related matters (e.g., identification and assessment of emerging risks)
- Assist with technology enhancement to the Governance, Risk and Compliance system
- Prepare reports to Senior Management and Board/Board Committees
- Capable of prioritising and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (including Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
