Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:Assist in managing relationships with a range of healthcare providers including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and allied health professionals.Support the onboarding of new providers and help maintain accurate provider records.Participate in the negotiation and renewal of provider contracts, including fee schedules, payment terms, and service agreements.Prepare contract drafts, amendments, and summaries for internal review and approval.Contribute to identifying opportunities for network growth and improved coverage in Singapore.Support service area and cost analysis to inform network configuration and development strategies.Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and support the implementation of cost containment initiatives.Help track and report on affordability metrics and contract performance.Support collaboration with Cigna Links partners and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on pricing, service quality, and governance.Help coordinate meetings, documentation, and follow-ups with external partners.Monitor trends and changes in the healthcare landscape and share insights with the team.Assist in compiling provider performance data and market intelligence reports.Participate in network-related projects and initiatives, supporting execution and reporting.Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Network Leads and peers to deliver project outcomes.Key Challenges/Anticipated Changes in Environment:Resistance in disrupting the status quo from an innovative contracting perspectiveApplying best practices / SoP’sBending the medical cost curve below medical inflation in the background of tough economic conditionsDevelopmental Value of Position:This position allows exposure to implement Advanced value based / performance-based contracts under your influence.Nimble learning and build opportunities to develop strategic relationship and build networks internally and externally.Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:University degree, 5+ years of relevant experience in Provider ContractingWorking knowledge of Provider Network in Singapore is a must.Good communication & negotiation skills.Strong Analytical skills by understanding the claim spend pattern/utilization management/value based contracting strategiesProficiency with MS Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio required.Knowledge of high priority healthcare providers, third party administrators,Excellent interpersonal, communication and motivational skills, including negotiation and presentation skills.Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a complex, highly matrixed, environment, including balancing priorities of multiple organizations to deliver end results.About The Cigna GroupCigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
