Role: Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Singapore, you will be reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer APAC. You will regularly engage with the local and foreign regulators and ensure compliance of Singapore company with applicable local and foreign law / regulation.You are:

Recognized legal qualifications in Singapore or abroad and admitted to practice either in the Singapore or abroad
Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience
Experience in working in-house with a multi-national company or with a reputable law firm with responsibility for review, drafting and negotiation of documentation
Experience of regulatory advisory work, preferably in insurance or financial services sectors
Experience handling contract reviews, drafting and negotiation
Experience handling employment and litigation matters
Ability to analyse complex legal problems quickly and concisely without direct supervision
Ability to exercise good judgment even in ambiguous situations
