- Job Purpose
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities with direct transactional accounts to drive portfolio and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing focus accounts to nurture trust and dedication.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of LGC product range across various markets for effective customer communication.
- Conduct engaging and informative presentations, highlighting the benefits and suitability of products or services to meet customers’ needs.
- Use LGC’s sales tools to manage prospects, existing accounts, opportunities, and pipeline, and to forecast in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for periodically collecting and analysing information on the top transactional accounts, to determine if they are eligible for segment promotion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to find opportunities for business growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to improve new product launches.
- Liaise closely with internal colleagues to ensure a flawless customer experience.
- A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field or equivalent
- Proven experience delivering sales presentations in a specialist capacity, ideally involving technical products or services.
- A demonstrated track record of success in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages will be considered a strong advantage.
- A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers and internal collaborators across various functions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm with a positive and can-do attitude.
