We offer you three rotations in different teams, on- and off-the-job training and the opportunity to start building your own Julius Baer network. As a Flex-Track Graduate, you are in the driving seat to define your rotations 2 and 3 within all departments of the bank. One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.Start date: 1 October 2024

  • Review, identify, redesign, and implement COO processes to further improve their effectiveness, efficiency, and quality – which in turn improve client experience
  • Act as a change agent who leads the local implementation of global/regional strategic change projects with the business
Risk Management
  • Support to drive and continuously improve the design and execution of control frameworks within COO
  • Support regulatory and internal/external audit, including preparation, coordination and alignment across functions, and ensure the factual accuracy of observations
  • Assess and monitor risk metrics, identify thematic risks, and escalate concerns or emerging trends/ hotspots. This includes conducting thematic risk reviews to identify areas for control improvement and assess special topics, including usage of data analytics if possible
  • Monitor remediation actions identified from audits or reviews to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the committed timeline and their effectiveness.
Run-the-Bank
  • Work closely with various stakeholders in supporting to drive, manage, co-ordinate the deployment of various initiatives/ policies/ regulatory requirements/ projects that are initiated/ sponsored by COO office
  • Prepare materials and in-depth analysis for management meetings
YOUR PROFILEMaster's degree or bachelor’s degree with an equivalent amount of practical experience from a university or university of applied sciences in economics, banking, finance, business administration, hospitality (graduation max. 12 months ago)Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets, internship or first practical experience in Wealth Management is a plusStrong analytical, conceptual skills and fast thinkerVery good interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsEntrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibilityIndependent, resilient and team-oriented personalityExcellent situational adaptabilityFriendly, trustworthy, and discreet personality with a high level of risk awarenessHighly service oriented and passionate about client servicingSystematic, precise, and diligent working style and the ability to perform under pressureFluency in English, other languages an advantageEligibility to work in the country where you apply for the positionApplications will be considered until 14 March 2024.
