- Production Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability. Adjust plans based on shifting priorities or unforeseen delays.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data, performance metrics, and historical trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless communication and execution of production plans.
- Problem-Solving: Address production issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and capacity utilization to management.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.
- Compliance: Ensure that all planning activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelors' or a Master's degree in Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering / Business Management or similar from a recognized institution
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
- Ability to gather relevant information systematically, seek input from others, use accurate logic in problem analysis, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to see the big picture and plan strategically to take the organization to the next level.
- 5-10+ years related experience in Wafer Planning, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred.
- Manufacturing/Production Control environment and a well understanding of the supply chain.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management (2-5 years preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with advance planning systems.
