We are looking for a Sales Manager based in Singapore. The role will report to the Area Manager SEA.Primary Objectives:To achieve sales target and grow the assigned market and clients. To support specification sales to designers in the consolidation of iGuzzini's existing architectural and the generation of new business development opportunities by establishing new Key Account clients, with project portfolios capable of producing sustainable growth within the territory.Key Responsibilities:The role will be largely focused on the development of new business and you will be responsible for project and customer management.The role will encompass a wide range of activities with the aim of you promoting the iGuzzini brand, its products and services to specific project stakeholders.Primarily this will be measured on building and maintaining an appropriate project backlog to close orders and ensure that your assigned Territory invoices the targeted sales figure within the calendar year whilst retaining maximum profitability.
The candidate will be expected to prioritize their time accordingly to ensure they are able to offer appropriate technical and commercial support to the clients, local architects, engineers and contractors associated to the projects.
Responsibilities will include raising iGuzzini brand awareness and organizing appropriate sales and marketing activities to build a strong customer database and project matrix, with the ultimate goal of networking with all parties to enable you to convert a Project backlog into orders. Working in conjunction with the Area Manager SEA, the candidate will have regular discussion on strategy and operations.
The position offers diverse and varied responsibilities, the specific Job description will be discussed with any candidate personally and documented accordingly.The identification of potential key accounts/business opportunities and initial client introduction.Client confidence building through close working liaison and customer support.The facilitation and negotiation of the tendering process through involvement in the preparation and submission of a volume of quotations capable of generating a final order value equal to or in excess of agreed sales targets.To carry out continual project management on all open quotations.Maintain an undated pipeline in the CRM system and generate accurate monthly report to submit to reporting manager.Requirements:The ideal candidate is based in Singapore, fluent in English and has 5-8 years of experience in technical lighting and specification sales.Technical education or background is desired.Availability to travel to Italy for business and training purposes.Availability to travel to SEA countries to promote iGuzzini.Winning attitude, be pro-active andconscientious.Desire to build relationships and provide the best level of service above all else.
