- Align business with national purpose: Develop the organisation's strategy and performance metrics to align with Singapore's policy goals. Help translate national ambition into corporate execution.
- Influence cross-border energy policy: Build trusted relationships with Singapore and foreign government stakeholders to understand their policy priorities and shape the frameworks that will enable cross-border projects to succeed.
- Be the organisation's policy radar: Monitor regulatory changes and global policy developments across energy, environment, security, and finance that could impact operations. Turn complexity into clarity and provide forward-looking policy intelligence to the leadership team.
- Represent the organisation on the big stage: Champion the organisation's interests in regulatory consultations, stakeholder forums, and government briefings. Help influence the frameworks that will define Singapore's cross-border electricity trade.
- Education in Economics, Public Policy or a related field.
- Experience in government policy and risk management, ideally within the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and policy development processes.
- Strong writing, excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyse complex policy and risk issues and their implications
- Able to travel and be based overseas for up to a week at a time when required.
