You will have access to the latest technological developments at GF Labs, with opportunities for patent submissions, presenting your ideas on a global platform, and enjoy GF-wide collaboration across our fabs and offices around the world.As a CFM Engineer, you will be responsible for managing contamination control systems, resolving environmental issues, and driving continuous improvement in fab cleanliness and yield performance.What You Will Do:Investigate and close excursion issues triggered by fab modulesFollow up on potential environmental contamination reports from modulesLead and guide CFM AEs, technicians, and operators on AMC (Airborne Molecular Contamination) alarmsEnsure CFM detection systems are functioning properly and proactively resolve issuesExecute projects to improve productivity of CFM operations and systemsEvaluate and study new environmental detection and monitoring toolsPerform benchmarking studies with other fabs to ensure Fab7 AMC performance meets or exceeds standardsProvide coaching and guidance to CFM AEs, operators, and new engineersSet up and calculate control limits and specification limits for SPC charts related to AMCEnsure all activities comply with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirementsCollaborate on other projects and assignments as neededWhat You Will Need:Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in contamination control or cleanroom system preferredAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
