The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families. These individuals have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse, for which they may have no words, yet need the healing non-verbal expression that the arts provide to journey towards recovery and empowerment.Job DescriptionMarketing & Communications Intern (Part-Time)Brief Description:This position is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications department, which also include all Monitoring & Evaluation activities. You will be part of a small yet cohesive team and will be therefore given a wide array of responsibilities (from assisting with strategic planning to execution and administrative duties) and tasks, depending on our needs and your own skills and interests. This is a three-day work position (Tues, Thurs and Fri, 9am to 6pm).Roles and Responsibilities:1) Assist with producing (visual design and copywriting) our main communications collaterals, both online (social media posts, infographics...) and offline (annual reports, newsletters, flyers...)2) Assist with data entry, processing and compilation for our M&E reports3) Research latest trends in marketing and communications to ensure that our practises and collaterals stay relevant and current4) Identify global arts therapy associations and establish contacts5) Help organise events (planning, logistics, advertising...)6) Be in touch with vendors when needed for our collaterals7) Other administrative duties as necessaryLearning Objectives and Outcomes:1) To be able to improve proficiency in producing marketing and communication collaterals, including visual design and copywriting2) To be gain knowledge in event planning, logistics, and advertising3) To apply communication skills by working with vendors and liaising with various stakeholders4) To apply time management and prioritisation skills5) To apply creativity and problem-solving skills6) To be exposed to various tools and software used in marketing and communication, such as Canva, WordPress and Adobe Creative SuiteApplication InstructionsPlease send your resume to or WhatsApp Kee Yun at 96251604.
