The primary responsibility of the position holder is to deescalate warranty claims and conflicts within the scope of the service requirements in the respective country accounts. They will resolve issues by technical measures to ensure quality and offer timely after-sales solutions for all products and repair activities. They will also respond to inbound technical enquiries regarding the products and/or services.What You Can Expect of the Job
  • You'll provide desk-based technical support and lead the team of external service technicians, to coordinate their work and activities.
  • You'll resolve technical enquiries or customers' complaints via phone, email, and internal communications by various methods.
  • You'll guide regional distributors through basic troubleshooting of electrical, electronic control, and refrigeration circuit problems.
  • You'll provide technical advice as well as expertise through guided technical training program / presentation to service technicians, dealers and impart technical knowledge to them.
  • You'll update the technical repair bulletin and advise the relevant department on any changes.
  • You'll build and maintain good relationships with dealers and customers, both locally and overseas.
  • You'll analyse failure statistics and prepare summary reports.
  • You'll conduct repair visits with technicians for key complaint cases and repeated service cases.
  • You'll conduct field audit checks with technicians and installers to ensure quality of repairs/installation are according to service guidelines.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
What We Expect of You
  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, specialization in Refrigeration / Mechatronics Engineering, with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Service and repair of equipment and experience in R600A refrigerant will be of advantage.
  • Refrigeration and electrical / electronic knowledge are preferred.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS applications, e.g. Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Liebherr's products and services
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to quickly synthesize complex information and identify problems/errors.
  • A team player, self-starter, eye for detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require working beyond office hours and/or weekends if situation dictates.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer's premises for servicing and repairing works in short notice.
