These essential capabilities provide smooth, compliant, and consistent experiences for all users, customers, and partners associated with Autodesk.In this role, the focus will be on promoting a 'Platform First' philosophy, fostering the development of a platform that is cohesive, API-accessible, and ensures a uniform user experience. Furthermore, the role involves assisting in ensuring the Platform yields significant insights into customer product interactions, potentially leading to new revenue opportunities and customized user experiences.In the team that you will be working with, you will be helping to own and build a Licensing platform that has direct and positive impact to millions of Autodesk customers. When any of Autodesk's customer Try, Buy or Access any of our products (e.g. AutoCAD, Maya, Fusion 360 and many more) and services (e.g. Autodesk Support, etc.), their licensing experience will be powered by the platform that you build.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain highly available and scalable platform using AWS servicesDesign and build appropriate observability (monitoring, tracking, logging, alerting) solutions from an operational excellence standpointPrior experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications. Experience with serverless approach like AWS Lamda is an added advantageGood to have Knowledge of using TerraformKey responsibilities include Design, build and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable codeDevelop solutions that are portable across platformsApply continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, resulting in a straightforward solution and reducing complexityWrite test automation and help your team to deliver frequent incremental releases using CI/CD pipelineHelp promote and drive sound engineering design, process and quality practicesHaving experience using Datadog monitoring tool can be an added advantageTechnologies We UseC++, Golang, Rust, PythonAWSJava & Golang based microservicesJavascriptPythonDockerGIT, JenkinsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field5+ years of software development experienceUnderstanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access managementStrong communication, and technical writing skillsExcellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively through an agile development process that promotes constant team communicationExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with Docker and Terraform is a mustPreferred QualificationsWe value engineers who are:Obsessed with Quality: Your Production code Just Works& scales linearlyTeam Players: You believe that more can be achieved together.
