We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profileJob ResponsibilitiesCredit Review (Commercial and Corporate Banking) is responsible for conducting a detailed credit analysis based on information furnished by the borrower, publicly available information, the lender's evaluation of the borrower's credit needs, and the ability to pay across a range of products against credit standards set by the organization.Corporate & Commercial Banking covers activities related to providing banking loan products and advice to institutions ranging from small to mid-sized businesses, to the largest corporations. Includes major market middle market corporate banking, business banking, and corporate and transaction banking. Corporate Banking covers activities related to the development, origination, and management of banking loan products, advice, and trade financing for major market corporate clients, including large local companies, financial institutions, and multinationals. Corporate banking generally refers to clients in excess of a given annual revenue.
  • To review and evaluate credit proposals and provide appropriate credit recommendation.
  • When awarded with CDL, to exercise such authority with integrity, prudent and in responsible manner.
  • To keep abreast with regulatory updates, and to ensure that all credit approvals are within appropriate regulatory guidelines.
  • To monitor outstanding loans for signs of stress and to recommend appropriate action.
  • To conduct site visit for better understanding of borrowers’ operations.
  • To prepare and analyze macro and micro economic data, and industry updates to support credit judgment.
  • Any assignments as may be delegated by Senior Management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or higher
  • More than 20 years of Corporate Banking experience as a relationship manager and/or as a credit approver.
  • Skills: Credit Approval, Credit analysis with good knowledge across various sectors / industries, with high familiarity on the regional business and credit landscape.
  • High level of integrity and a team player
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
