This role will be accountable to ensure the accuracy of post trade investment compliance monitoring. Also, ensuring adequate controls and oversees the sub-advisers, custodian banks, and external auditors as they relate to the funds’ investment compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide recommendations to Fund Administration management on all matters relating to investment compliance policies and procedures.Directly responsible for the coordination and presentation of investment compliance materials including executive compliance meetings regarding complex instruments as it relates to investment compliance with focus on derivatives.Responsible for coordinating, analyzing and presenting results of sub-adviser brokerage execution reports for both domestic and international activity to senior management within the Trade Oversight Committee.Manage the trade and compliance error log, complete and review compliance and trade error breach memos to ensure appropriate resolution.Identify and coordinate procedure and automation projects. Ensure projects are in line with departmental objectives and are completed timely.Responsible for forensic testing and review of trading activity for each sub-adviserParticipate with AVP/Officer in developing new corporate strategies, policies and procedures.Provide input into the budget process and manage departmental costs within budgeted guidelines.Facilitate routine, periodic, and forensic testing for the investment compliance functionDevelop strategic and tactical goals for the team in support of advancing the investment compliance functionsCoordinate detailed review of all deliverable for the department.Other duties as assignedProvide support to internal audit, external audit and external regulatory agencies, as neededHow will you create impact?The Head of Regulatory Strategy, Conduct and Culture is a newly created role, intended to support the company in its regulatory interactions and relationship to ensure that this is properly managed and regulatory responses provided are of appropriate quality and provided in a timely manner.
