Key Responsibilities:Oversee vessels' compliance with HSE standards and maritime regulations.Ensure vessels are operationally ready for voyages and charters.Manage audits and inspections (ISM, ISPS, MLC) and vetting processes (OCIMF/SIRE).Supervise navigational matters, including passage plan approvals and navigation audits.Liaise with terminals, oil majors, Flag and Port State authorities.Maintain updated Q88 and HVPQ profiles.Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices.Review and update the company's SMS.Support vessel crew in training, performance, and discipline.Provide technical advice on vessel capabilities.Part of the company's emergency response team.Handle projects and tasks as assigned.Requirements:Master Mariner or Chief Officer (CoC Class 1 or 2) or ≥2 years shore experience with product/chemical tankers in HSE compliance.Strong knowledge of maritime regulations.High integrity with strong leadership and communication skills.Team-oriented and able to guide and motivate crew effectively.
