About this roleThis traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.About the Traineeship Program
  • The program involves a fully-sponsored training program with a basic of S$1,700 - S$1,900 per month over the one-year training period (excluding other allowances).
  • The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.
  • The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.
  • The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.
  • The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.
  • Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.
Requirements
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (eg. Aeronautical/ Avionics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Precision)
  • Completed or exempted from full-time National Service Required to work on rotating shift work
