It facilitates the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology, and upgrading of skills in the financial industry.Join us now, if you have a genuine interest in making an impact to help shape Singapore’s economic and financial landscape.[What you will be working on]The Markets, Infrastructure, and Intermediaries Department (MII) is responsible for admitting and supervising markets and infrastructures, including exchanges, central counterparties, the central depository, trade repositories, benchmark administrators, as well as their surrounding ecosystem of securities and derivatives broker intermediaries.You will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of supervisory technology solutions to support the supervision of regulated entities under MII’s ambit. In this role, you will work with various supervisory teams to identify and gather data requirements, translate them into specifications, and implement solutions such as dashboards and reports to enhance supervisory effectiveness.[What we are looking for]Able to work at both the conceptual and operational levels in a team environment. Can work independently, and is self-motivatedPossesses strong analytical skills, and is detail-orientedKnowledge in Python, R, and/or other programming languagesComfortable with handling large datasets, and performing data cleaning and transformation using programming languages (eg. pandas, NumPy for Python, etc).Comfortable with the use of visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlikview and Power BI.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting
