The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of both Chinese and English, with proven experience in simultaneous & consecutive interpretation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and clear simultaneous & consecutive interpretation between English and Chinese
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality at all times
  • Prepare in advance for assignments by reviewing relevant materials or terminology
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to ensure successful communication
Requirements:
  • High fluency in English & Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a professional Simultaneous Interpreter
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a professional Consecutive Interpreter
  • Located in Batam, Indonesia
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to remain neutral and professional, especially in sensitive or confidential situations
  • Relevant certification or degree in interpretation or a related field is a plus
