Research Assistant (Urban Airflow Modelling)

- Set up and operate wind tunnel equipment
- Conduct wind tunnel experiments on urban airflow modelling
- Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations on urban airflow modelling
- Analyze experimental and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations
- Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, develop simulation methodologies, and interpret results
- Assist in the preparation of research proposals, technical reports, and scientific publications
- Assist in other relevant activities in the research project such as supervision of undergraduate students and management of project administration.
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations software
- Strong passion in research and can conduct research semi-independently
- Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
- Experience in conducting wind tunnel/water tunnel experiments is a plus
- Experience in programming and AI/machine learning is a plus
- Candidates with good publication record will be prioritized
- Candidates who plan to pursue a PhD degree will be prioritized
