The Manpower Department (MPD) is the staff authority for Human Resource (HR)-related matters within SPF. The mission of Manpower Department is to recruit, retain and develop the right people. As an Assistant Manager, you will be assigned to either the Marketing & Publicity team or Scholarship team in the Manpower Department. You will be placed under the Management Executive SchemeWhat you will be working on:You will also work on the following: General Tasks • Oversee and steer strategies and initiatives for recruitment, including outreach and engagement initiatives • Assist the end-to-end scholarship recruitment and administration process, including promotion and engagement, green harvesting, facilitating application and appointment procedures • Act as primary point of contact for high-potential prospective students regarding scholarship opportunities and engagement • Assist in planning, organizing and executing all scholarship key events, including Award Ceremonies, Career Outreach events, and Scholarship Programmes • Oversee and steer strategies and initiatives for recruitment, including outreach and engagement initiatives • Build & maintain partnerships with tertiary institutions, universities and student networks • Spearhead internship programmes in SPFWhat we are looking for:We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to be part of our team. You will be assisting the Manager (Scholarships) and Assistant Director (Talent Attraction Division). REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of 3 years in human resource, events planning, outreach and partnerships or related roles • Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Events Management or relevant fields; • Knowledge in Microsoft software • Able to liaise with various stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure the smooth rollout of projects • Meticulous and independent worker who is able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision; • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills. • Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines. • Class 3 licence would be an added advantage Short-listed candidates will be notified within two weeks after the closing date for applications.About MHA - Singapore Police Force (SPF):MHA - Singapore Police Force (SPF)
