- Lead clients in the development of strategic plans and objectives
- Critically analyse client briefs and provide strategic insights and recommendations
- Define scope of work and KPIs
- Solve problems and overcome challenges with creative communications solutions
- Senior point of contact and strategic counsel to client and their stakeholders
- Raise over-servicing issues with client and make recommendations for adjustments
- Responsible for the growth and development of AM/AEs on team through formal and informal coaching
- Communicate clear work scope and roles and responsibilities on the account
- Guide execution of plans and ensure the team stays on track and on target
- Oversee day-to-day servicing to ensure quality and timeliness of work
- Review monthly budget and time allocations with team
- Identify new business leads and bring in new business for the agency
- Lead proposal development – brainstorm, pitch document, presentation
- Organically grow existing accounts
- Provide counsel to other teams who could benefit from your experience/network
- Lead our approach to stakeholder engagement across all audiences
- Employ strategies that integrate PESO media channels
- Ability to grow and leverage strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve goals
- Provide guidance to teams on how to create appropriate communications materials
- Ensure all elements (angles, contacts, output) are clear between client and team
- Develop strong and compelling messages that are aligned with strategy
- Have sound and current knowledge of digital platforms
- Identify opportunities to grow our business through digital, design and tech-led solutions
- Manage and oversee the production process (from ideation through scripting and storyboarding, filming and editing)
- Support contract development, new client set-up and managing related client expenses
- Spearhead budgeting process and ensure the team is clear on what has been signed off
- Manage team hours vs agreed hours and scope and work
- Support Finance to manage efficiency for the billing proces
- 8 - 12 in the Communications industry
- Master in developing earned-first, integrated communications programmes and campaigns
- Expert writing and presentation skills
- Provide strategic and often creative counsel that brings significant value to clients, driving their business goals
- Experience in successfully building stakeholder relationships
- Motivate, direct and drive performance with teams on accounts
- Ability to convert new business into long-term clients
- Grow people and improve capability of team
- Grow existing client accounts across all relevant agency capabilities
- Strong business acumen
