Job DescriptionTechnology-enabled transformation is the leading practice within public and private-sector organizations around the world. At KPMG, the CxO Tech Advisory team is at the core of innovation to help organizations effectively navigate the complexities of change and unlock the full value of transformation initiatives, by aligning technology with business strategy, delivering cutting-edge solutions embracing emerging technologies while ensuring risks are identified and managed.As an intern/associate in CxO Tech Advisory practice, you will work with dynamic team members and cross-functional teams of experts to guide clients along transformation projects and offer an objective, professional approach to managing associated risks. You will have a variety of opportunities to gain exposure to an international network of consulting professionals and deliver impactful transformations for high-profile organizations.What you will do:
  • You will be involved in end-to-end technology advisory engagement, working alongside senior team members to overlay point-of-views and industry insights via research and analysis, and formulate solutions and recommendations to address client's needs, challenges, and risks.
  • You will support the technology assessment and business requirements gathering processes, review appropriateness of technical specifications against the problem statements/business requirements, and support solutions prototyping and design of enterprise systems.
  • You will attend meetings with clients to define problem statements, analyse key priorities/issues, and work with senior team members to conduct workshops, develop responses to client enquiries, produce documentation and reports.
You will assist management team with business development activities including formulating KPMG's offerings and propositions, proposals, presentations and publications.The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Pursuing or possessing tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
  • Specific interest or past internship experience in technology consulting, for any of the following areas: IT strategy and roadmap development, IT operating model, IT governance, enterprise architecture, technology assessment, project management advisory, emerging technologies and solutions (e.g. cloud, AI, blockchain, metaverse), technology risk management.
  • A passion for technology, understanding of key technology trends, eagerness to learn emerging technologies and new skills quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, ability to self-motivate and work under pressure with changing priorities.
  • Strong client, stakeholder and team management abilities coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
