Over the last 12 years, Merry Bees has planned and performed at over 2,000 successful events and created a plethora of digital content for clients. They provide event, business, and talent services, among other things. Managing a diverse range of talents, including show hosts, singers, musicians, and entertainers, they have entertained and produced stages of all kinds. The Merry Bees event and content creation ecosystem is complete with its own fleet of audiovisual equipment, which is operated by the company's own sound engineers, graphic artists, videographers, and editors, enabling them to conceptualize, plan, and manage your event from start to end.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

Audio and Video Setup: Install, configure, and operate sound and video equipment, including microphones and mixing consoles.
Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support during events to ensure the smooth operation of AV equipment.
Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve any technical issues related to audio and video systems.
Pre-Event Preparation: Test and ensure that all equipment is working properly prior to events, including conducting system checks and calibration.
Collaboration: Work closely with event producers and other team members to understand the event requirements and provide technical solutions.
Live Event Operation: Manage live audio and video feeds, ensuring optimal sound and visual quality during the event, including mixing audio, controlling video projections, and adjusting lighting as necessary.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and check the condition of all audio and video equipment, ensuring it is kept in excellent working order.
Event Load-in/Load-out: Assist with the transportation, installation, and removal of technical equipment before and after events.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as an Audio and Video Engineer in an events or live production environment.
Strong knowledge of AV systems, including PA systems, video equipment, and projection technology.
Proficiency in using industry-standard audio and video software and hardware
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues under pressure.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
A strong understanding of audio engineering principles and video production workflows.
A background in live events
