- Strategic Partnership Identification & Development:
- Proactively research and identify potential AI partners (startups, technology providers, research institutions, content creators, game developers, etc.) whose AI solutions or expertise align with Razer's strategic objectives in gaming.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports Razer's AI vision and secure great partnerships for AI’s suite of innovative tools.
- Lead the entire partnership lifecycle from initial outreach and qualification to negotiation, deal closing, and ongoing relationship management.
- Business Growth & Revenue Generation:
- Identify and define clear business models and value propositions for potential partnerships, ensuring alignment with Razer's revenue goals and long-term strategy.
- Drive the negotiation of complex business terms, legal agreements, and technical integrations with partners.
- Work closely with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to ensure successful execution and operationalization of partnerships, delivering tangible business results.
- Internal AI Leadership & Stakeholder Connection:
- Act as the primary liaison between external partners and Razer's internal AI leadership (e.g. AI Research teams, product managers responsible for AI features).
- Effectively communicate partner capabilities, technical requirements, and potential synergies to internal AI stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical discussions, demonstrations, and strategic planning sessions between partners and Razer's AI teams to ensure successful integration and innovation.
- Gather internal AI needs and communicate them effectively to potential partners, ensuring proposed solutions meet Razer's evolving requirements.
- Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and competitive landscape in AI within the gaming industry.
- Represent Razer at industry events, conferences, and meetups to identify new opportunities and build a strong network.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Razer's AI initiatives by providing market insights and partnership recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree in AI/ML is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development, with a significant portion focused on technology partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience in the gaming industry, with a strong understanding of game development, gaming platforms, and player ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, technologies, and their applications, especially within interactive entertainment.
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing complex strategic deals that have driven measurable business growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives both internally and externally.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Experience working with or for gaming hardware companies.
- A personal passion for gaming and the gaming community.
- Familiarity with Razer's products and ecosystem.
