The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including large-scale transportation and transit-related developments.Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the civil and structural design for infrastructure and transit-related projects.
  • Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Review contractor submissions and provide responses to design queries.
  • Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and resolve construction issues related to C&S design.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years' design experience in infrastructure and civil engineering projects of similar scale and nature.
  • Proven experience in the design of continuous multiple-span prestressed concrete bridges.
  • Hands-on experience in the design of Civil Defence MRT Stations.
  • Strong understanding of local and international design standards and codes (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, EN, LTA standards).
  • Experience with modification works to existing rail transit structures is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS, or equivalent.
