Job Description :As a Technical Product Manager at Shopee, you will drive technical project delivery from request planning, competitor analysis, development, testing, UAT and launch. You will also collect, analyze and summarize customer feedback and work with various stakeholders to deliver improvements. You are the owner of different technical projects and a bridge between internal and external teams.
  • Drive end-to-end product development of technical projects, from ideation, data analysis, development, testing, launch and iterations.
  • Conduct comparative analysis and market research to identify opportunities, gaps and areas of improvement for current solutions.
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations and project timelines and deliver projects in alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with data science and engineering teams to deliver data products and technical solutions, including but not limited to data tracking systems (front-end and back-end tracking).
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or other quantitative fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyze market data, customer feedback and performance metrics to inform product strategy.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
Good To Have:
  • Ability to take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of app and web development process.
  • Basic knowledge of product design principles and UI/UX design.
  • Basic knowledge of database design, data modeling.

The team is responsible for Shopee e-commerce data warehouse construction, merchant and operation data product construction, all-link traffic data, product algorithms (including product release, control, information optimization, SPU library and its comparison business), marketing algorithms (including Merchandising, Product Selection, Recommendation Algorithm, Evaluation Algorithms, User Profiling) and in addition, basic AI capabilities (such as Machine Translation, Speech Algorithm, Image Algorithm, and Real-person Authentication).
