We are looking for an analytical Finance BP who will act as a strategic business partner to our global e-commerce business in Singapore. In this role, this person will be required to find new insights helping drive topline growth and improve profitability. They will provide timely and insightful analysis and perform strategic planning, from preparation to execution to constructive evaluation. This position is located in our Singapore office with a five-day, in-office work schedule. This is an individual contributor role.As the Finance BP at TikTok and a member of the Global Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's continued success across the global markets. This position is based in our Singapore office. In this role, you will own financial planning, performance analysis, and business advisory. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, to deliver actionable insights through financial reporting and variance analysis, and to evaluate new initiatives, optimize processes. You'll be an integral part of the finance team, collaborating closely with other finance business partners and cross-functional teams across the organization.Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end budget management, including planning, execution, and performance tracking to ensure financial targets are met. Deliver actionable insights through weekly and monthly financial reports, analyzing variances to drive data-driven decisions.
- Serve as a strategic finance advisor, evaluating new business initiatives through financial modeling, process optimization, and post-mortem analysis to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
- Streamline financial operations, overseeing project approvals, contract reviews, budget allocations, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation.
- Partner cross-functionally to align finance and business priorities, ensuring compliance while enabling agile decision-making.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of work experience as a Finance Business Partner or in FP&A within a multinational or large-scale organisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, particularly in areas such as return on investment (ROI) assessment, financial modelling, and financial performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights, with strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong logical reasoning and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders based in Chinese-speaking markets and the need to review documents in Mandarin.
