Job Description:

Support on Setup and execute of a design qualification plan to assure the quality and reliability of new hardware products in the development phase
Manage the reliability assessment programme of products in mass production
Work with remotely-located teams of quality professionals in ensuring the quality and reliability of products shipped
Work with engineering on solutions that are implemented to improve the quality & Reliability of products
Setup, maintain and improve quality processes for consistent and predictable execution and results
Continually improve hardware quality and reliability coverage, accuracy, methods, processes and turnaround time
Engage 3rd party Test labs for test support
Improve team process & efficiency through use of automation tools or AI tools
Occasional Travel to local & overseas sites to support qualification and quality activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or relevant IT studies.
Minimum 2 year of hardware testing or hardware reliability experience
Experience in Intel based desktop, notebook & tablet products and computer peripherals manufacturing environment
Experience in programming in a LINUX/PC/WINDOWS etc. environment and good knowledge of PC-based office automation tools
Familiarity with environmental and reliability testing standards, methods & tools
Experience in implementing or managing the ISO 9000 quality management system standard and process is advantage
