Job Purpose:This is a role in Regional Consumer Banking Group (“CBG”) Credit team, supporting Head, Risk Monitoring and Reporting & Systems and Controls responsible for the establishment of a robust credit bureau management framework, ensuring robust governance controls and compliance with regulatory policies and industry standards.Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and efficient framework for credit bureau reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while championing process improvements and technological advancements in credit bureau reporting.
  • Enhance and strengthen governance controls in credit bureau management.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework for accurate and timely reporting to credit bureau.
  • Regularly review and enhance reporting processes to guarantee data integrity and operational efficiency in credit bureau management.
  • Develop robust governance structures and control towers to oversee credit bureau reporting activities. Ensure these structures are effective in monitoring and managing the reporting process.
  • Be accountable for full compliance with applicable regulatory policies and industry
  • Formulate and execute strategies leveraging credit bureau data for efficient credit and portfolio management. Develop innovative approaches to enhance risk-based credit decision-making processes.
  • Drive initiatives in credit digitalization, automation, and dashboarding. Identify opportunities and gaps to transform and improve data lineage, as well as existing monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage system changes, issue resolution, and customer disputes related to credit bureau reporting. Foster a collaborative environment to address complex challenges.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes in reporting requirements. Embrace and apply best practices in reporting and analytics to ensure industry-leading performance.
Requirements:The candidate should preferably have at least 8 years of Consumer Banking experience. In addition, the candidate should preferably possess hands-on technical knowledge in the following complementary work experience in:
  • Domain knowledge in Credit Bureau Management, consumer credit products, consumer credit loan systems
  • Hands on knowledge on data analytics tool including SAS and Python
  • Consumer lending digitalisation and automation infrastructure and capabilities
  • Degree holder, preferably in risk management/ quantitative discipline
  • Good understanding and knowledge of credit cycle management in a consumer credit environment.
  • Good inter-personal, communication & writing skills.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Seek to understand stakeholder’s point of view and find win-win solution.
  • Motivated and self-driven Team Player.
