What the role is:The Career Health initiative is the next bound of our efforts under SkillsFuture. It aims to empower individuals to take care of their career development and employers to access a wider pool of talent and develop their workforce. As part of the Comms & Engagement efforts to promote Career Health, the Partnership and Engagement (PE) team in CED will oversee the campaign's engagement and outreach efforts in getting people to act and use the Career Health tools. The intern will likely be involved in the ongoing tee-up phase of the campaign. Pre- and post-Committee of Supply (COS) engagements with Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) on MOM's key announcements is another workstream in the PE team. The intern will assist the TAC engagements lead in planning and executing these engagements, which entail close coordination with the TACs and internal stakeholders. Learning Outcome: • Learn how to design and execute Government engagements with the public • Learn how to identify and procure suitable locations for engagements based on nature of projects and intended audience/participants • Exposure to inter-Divisional project planning • Learn how to determine key performance indicators of success of engagement projectsWhat you will be working on:
  • Strategise and execute the recruitment of participants • Put together admin briefs for POHs' involvement • Manage the dates, venues and logistical arrangements (refreshments, parking, reimbursement etc) for engagements
What we are looking for:
  • Interest in learning how to run engagements of varying scales, in cross-functional teams • Strong writing and communication skills • Meticulous and analytical when solving problems • Design thinking and project management skills would be a plus
