ING’s regional presence includes a 13% stake in Bank of Beijing, China and a 30% stake in TMBThanachart Bank in Thailand.Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.What does the Human Resources People Services Team do in ING?The People Services team in Human Resources focusses on the day to day governance and delivery of HR services to our staff ranging from onboarding through the lifecycle of the employee journey.What would you be doing?There is currently a transformation project taking place to implement more HR digital solutions as part of the Global HR system footprint.As an intern, you will provide support to the People Services function in all HR risk administration related matters while some regular team members focus on aspects of the transformation project.The work will cover HR services for the Asia region such as;Support the People Services team in the administration and management of HR Systems and Processes across Tier 1 and Tier 2 activities across employee queries, onboarding, off boarding and other events in the HR lifecycleAssist with driving the review the maintenance and documentation of HR related operating procedures and policies as requiredSupport HR projects such as HR Administration efficiency and onboarding projects for ING AsiaPerform some HR reportingWhat qualities and skills are we looking for?We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.Minimum GPA of 3.5/4 or 4.2/5 or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with handling large volumes of informationGood organizational skills and attention to detailAble to visualize and understand the end to end of a processProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)Reasonable level of savviness wth IT to use HR systems and data to be efficient in workAble to maintain a high level of confidentialityResourceful and willingness to learnPrevious internship in HR or a major in HR would be of added valueWhat would you gain from this internship?Real world hands on experience with day to day HR administration activities in the banking and financial services industry plus witness the migration of tasks to globalized HR processes and systems.Need more information?
