Job descriptionOur client, a leading financial institution with a strong presence across ASEAN, is building a new technology function to support its expanding investment and asset management business.They are seeking a Head of Technology Operations to play a foundational role in establishing this capability from the ground up. This is a newly created opportunity for a senior, hands-on leader to drive operational excellence across production systems, application support, and vendor-managed services - while also shaping practices around SRE, DevOps, and ITSM.🔧 ResponsibilitiesTechnology Operations & Service ManagementLead day-to-day operations across business-critical applications, infrastructure, and vendor-supported platformsDefine and implement ITSM processes (incident, problem, change management)Establish and track SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs to ensure high service qualityAct as the key liaison between internal teams, group technology, and external vendorsSite Reliability Engineering & DevOpsChampion observability, monitoring, and automation to reduce downtimeLead performance tuning, capacity planning, and failover testingCollaborate with development teams to embed reliability and operability into systemsApplication & Data SupportManage support for investment platforms and core business applicationsMonitor and maintain data pipelines for accuracy and availabilityConduct root cause analyses and lead resolution of recurring issues🧠 What We're Looking For8-12 years of experience in Technology Operations, SRE, or ITSM rolesIn-depth understanding of ITIL, modern DevOps, and observability toolingProven ability to manage third-party vendors and service providersComfortable leading a small team or operating as a hands-on individual contributorBackground in financial services (e.g., asset management, banking, fintech)Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skillsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field💼 BenefitsBase Salary: SGD 180,000 - 240,000 per annumBonuses: Competitive performance-based structureBenefits: Comprehensive healthcare, wellness programsHybrid working model - centrally located office in Singapore📩 Ready to shape the future of tech operations in financial services?
