- Handle post fixture operations related to laytime calculations
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of laytime statements
- Review and negotiate contracts, charter parties, and other relevant documents
- Collaborate with various stakeholders such as brokers, ship owners, and charterers
- Monitor, track, and resolve any laytime disputes or discrepancies
- Manage and maintain laytime databases and records
- Prepare reports and analysis on laytime performance
- Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices related to laytime
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Minimum ITE/diploma, preferably in maritime studies or related field
- Previous experience in a post fixture or laytime role within the shipping industry
- Strong understanding of laytime calculations, charter parties, and contracts
- Familiarity with industry software and tools for laytime calculations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
