Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive

- Operating company accounts on QuickBooks accounting software
- Responsible for full set of accounts and monthly accounts closing
- Perform bookkeeping such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Bank Reconciliation in both QuickBooks and excel schedule
- Prepare and maintain records of purchases and payments
- Adhere company mode of payments
- Prepare financial reports including Income Statement and Balance Sheet according to the FRS and GAAP standards
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to IRAS
- Liaise with the external auditor, tax agents and company corporate secretary
- Respond to remittance and other bank queries
- Reports to the Directors and handles ad-hoc assignments
- Handling company HR matters and duties such as interviewing potential candidates, managing monthly payroll, monthly CPF submission and yearly employees income tax submission
- Handling company administrative matters such as replenish office pantry supplies, stationery supplies and opening company mail box
- Minimum a Bachelors Degree, Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
- Preferably at least 4 years of relevant working experience, Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills and time management
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to Accounting softwares
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
