A core industry of Singapore tourism, Cruise is expected to recover to pre-COVID throughput in 3 to 4 years, with the long-term potential staying the same. With the announcement of cruise pilots on 8 October 2020, the team is working with various government agencies and the key cruise lines to prepare for the pilot. Work will be intense as we drive towards the pilot from early November and continued need to galvanise WOG collaboration to support cruise lines recovery endeavours (e.g. Fly-Cruise testbeds, increasing occupancy). Main Responsibilities: You will drive the cruise business by pursuing cruise lines for deployment and market development by collaborating with regional offices. Key responsibilities include: Growing Supply: Engage and partner global cruise lines to build a pipeline of home-ported ships and grow the cruise business for Singapore. Pursue Gamechangers: Expand ancillary cruise activities to increase economic contribution to Singapore. Increase in use of tech solutions and enhance industry's tech capabilities Sharpening Tools: Manage existing Cruise Development Fund and Conduct strategic review of the Cruise Development Fund and other programs to support a growing industry. Key relationships: External stakeholders (e.g. cruise line), internal line units (e.g. Strategic Planning & Incentive Policy)
