
Accountant (Open to Malaysians)

- Manage the full set of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prevailing accounting standards and principles.
- Support the Finance Director in preparing financial statements and consolidation for various entities and ensure timely submission of monthly accounts and management reports.
- Oversee daily accounting activities including cost accounting, auditing, cost control, inventory management, and asset tracking.
- Perform cost center accounting, including cost allocation analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide financial analysis and accounting support to business units and commercial teams.
- Monitor sales transactions and ensure proper recording and reconciliation of all incoming payments.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies through collaboration with relevant counterparts.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded with consideration to tax efficiency and compliance.
- Implement and maintain accounting control procedures in alignment with company policies.
- Execute and support the implementation of SOX-related internal controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting (IFRS, SFRS, US GAAP)
- Experience in financial consolidation will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
